It is a bit quiet in the summer here in Florida but I have been doing at least a little work. Look for me in your mailbox any day now on a Publix flyer for their youth soccer program. I also have several commercials running. My daughter and I are in a Sonny's commercial and the one I did for the state of Florida is running. I am in a Checkers ad somewhere? and I am also the actor in the commercial for "Club 52" at The Melbourne Greyhound Park. Plus, look for me on the National Geographic Channel in "Split Second Tragedy at Sea" as Captain John. Airing September 19, at 10am and 1pm. More coming soon.........

Hi there. Summer is coming and things have slowed down a bit but I have been working. (at least a little). I recently shot a commercial for the Florida Department of Agriculture and I also shot an online commercial for Buick. My SAG National for Sears is running so look for me as one half of the "happy mowing couple". I also have a bit of a story. Many months ago, I mailed my headshot to the casting director of a major television show in New York City. Well... they called and wanted to see me for an audition. So, I got on plane and went to New York City and auditioned. It went reasonably well and I will find out in the next month or so what happens........
cool huh??

Ahhh......the acting life is good this year (so far). I have done print shoots for Disney, Pulte Homes, and Harley Davidson and Kezer Corp. I worked for three days as a stand in for John Schnieder on the set of Sydney White. I worked a day on the set of the pilot for "The Cure" and worked a day on the set of the Court TV program "Body of Evidence." I have shot commercials for Stonewood Restaraunts, Checkers Hamburgers, Club 52 at the Melbourne Greyhound Track and I just shot a SAG national commercial for Sears as Mower Man. Thanks Deborah for bailing me out... I just finished the film "Pizza" and the film "Happy Hour" is complete and on its way to festivals... If only my day job was this much fun.

December 15, 2006
Hi there and thanks for checking in..... I should find out soon if I get a callback for "The Objective." The deadline for auditions was today. In the meantime, the short film "Happy Hour" has been well received by audiences.... uhhh at the bar where we shot it. It came out very funny and it is festival bound. It was written, directed and produced by Anthony Azar of "Truth in Creativity Productions."
I have done some modeling jobs lately for: The Gaylord Palms Resort, The Sarasota Tourist Board, Ryland Homes and Divosta Homes.
Also, look for me on December 24th on ABC in the PGA charity story. I'm the middle part of character that ages from a little boy to an old man. This weekend I'm taking Dov Simens' 2-DAY FILM SCHOOL "The Business of Motion Pictures."
Till' next time..... ARRGGHHHH!!!!

The top video is an audition for a new project by one of the creators of The Blair Witch Project. It takes place in Afghanistan . I shot this on the dune at the intersection of the Beachline and US1 in Cocoa Fl. It was just by luck that the burned out car was there. The title of the movie is "The Objective"... My character is a psychological operations officer taking a break while on a mission. The rest of the videos are re-edited Slackers episodes . I got them all down to about one minute . They are much better that way. The abazab playbox is cool.....

It has been pretty quiet lately. I have however done a few print jobs over the past several weeks and I am in the middle of the short film shoot "Happy Hour" which is a comedy/horror. I have re-edited all of the slackers episodes to about one minute each. They are much better shorter. I will be posting them soon along with a couple of new ones. The movie "The Cops Did It" is in post production and I have an updated trailer which you can view on the following link. There are two trailers one is 30 seconds and the (NEW) other one is two and a half minutes. This movie is going to be really funny. We are getting some local press in the newspapers in and around Melbourne Fl. where we shot it...... It is currently being shopped for distrubution and there is strong interest. Rated R.....

AHHH! it's gettin' hot outside again but thats ok cause' I've been working! In the past couple of weeks, I have done several print jobs; one for GE and their Lexan brand hurricane shutters (look for me in the brochures at Home Depot), one for a real estate development in Tampa and one for a cool GPS product called "NavMan" which uses GPS for directions but also has pictures of your destination. Cool huh?? And finally, I just shot the 2006 Harley Davidson clothing catalogue which will be distributed to all the Harley dealers worldwide. Thanks so much to the fine folks at Alexa Model and Talent!!!
The modeling has been good but the acting has been kinda' quiet except for when an agent called me to tell me that the casting director I saw the day before said, "I sucked and all I did was waste their time." Then in the SAME breath this SAME agent tried to get me to sign up for a $350.00 class that the SAME casting director was teaching!!! HMM??? maybe I do suck but I take acting classes cause' they're fun not because someone says, "you suck take my $350.00 class" Should agents be doing that anyway???
My SAG regional is running. I'll be in all the Home Depots in the country. I'll be in all the Harley Davidson dealerships in the WORLD!!! Im on CMT all the time in a Rascal Flatts video. I'm in a Bass Pro Shops ad. I'm in a LA Weight Loss ad. I'm in some cheesy loan shark ad thats' running locally. I'm gonna' be on National Lampoon's Comedy Night School real soon. I've been posting my silly skits nationwide on Craigslist.org....Heh Heh. And that crazy film I'm in, "The Cops Did It" is in post production and I'm shooting more silly skits which will hopefully air on BrightHouse Networks. Plus, I'm on the homepage of this website check it out!!!

Yea, I finally did it. I booked a Screen Actors Guild regional commercial for Hackensack University Medical Center which is a teaching hospital in Hackensack New Jersey just across the river from New York City. I play a son picking up his just released father. It was a lot of fun and thanks to everyone involved. Plus, on March 20, I was in The New York Times in a print ad I did for the Sarasota Ritz Carlton.
Be patient!! "The Cops Did It" is now in post production and should be done very soon. This film is the next cult hit (hopefully) something good is going to happen with this film! I'm not sure yet what it is but when you go for it things tend to come together in unexpected ways. Many thanks to Anthony Azar for his persistence and creativity! That contract was for gross points right???? UHHH!!! And many thanks to Lloyd Kaufman of TROMA fame for taking time out of his busy schedule to be in scenes with me. Were all those chicks your girlfriends???? Meanwhile, the process goes on. I'm still going on lots of auditions and I'm getting ready to start a sketch comedy television show Called Rat A Tat Tat to air here in central Florida. Plus, I just finshed an eight week class with Russ Blackwell (advanced scene study) at the Mullen's Acting School in Orlando. He's good sign up!!
And yes, I'm still avoiding my day job any way I can so call if you have an acting job for me.........

March 4, 2006
OK THEN..... principal photography is wrapped for the feature film, "The Cops Did It". I play the wacked out cop Larmine. This film by Anthony Azar is destined for good things. I am not sure exactly what yet but good things none the less. Look for the release this summer. In the meantime, I have been going on auditions like crazy and have even booked a few things. Look for me on national TV in a commercial for Bass Pro Shops. Its a funny one. The Sarabeth Video (by Rascal Flatts) is getting lots of play on CMT. Im the doctor. I also have a commercial airing (somewhere) for Hughes Building Supply. I am on Canadian TV too.. YAH... in a commercial for LA Weight Loss. I have also done a couple of print jobs, one for Disney and one for The National Marine Association and recently I worked as an extra for Sea World (dolphins are cool) and I am avoiding my day job as much as possible. I am also currently enrolled in Russ Blackwell's Advanced class at The Mullen's Acting School. Highly recommended.

January 18, 2006
I have been shooting more scenes for the upcoming blockbuster movie, "THE COPS DID IT." HAH!! This movie is being shot right here in the Melbourne area of Central Florida. This film is whacky, funny, raunchy, well written, and witty with a strong message. I play a whacked out cop. A really whacked out corrupt cop. Its a lead role. (I think) This role for me has been SOOO much fun and a bit of a challenge too. My character takes a lot of physical energy as you will soon see. My prediction is that this movie will be well received which is good because if its received by enough people I'll get paid.......

January 8, 2006
Thanks for checking in.
Since my last post, I have been on a bunch of
auditions. I have shot several commercials and a couple of print jobs and I have a few more coming up later this month. I have also been shooting the independent feature film, "The Cops Did It". This is a wacky film destined for festival awards and permanent cult status. I promise. I have also sent my pictures to an agency in North Carolina so we will see what happens with that.
Check back soon cause' there is always more stuff coming!

November 2, 2005
Hi there and a little bit more action. I have just booked and started to shoot a feature length film titled "The Cops Did It." I play a whacked out crooked cop (go figure). I was lucky enough to be in a scene with the world famous producer, writer, director and actor Lloyd Kaufman of "Toxic Avenger" fame. Check WWW.TROMA.COM
I have also booked (I think) a role in the independent feature film, "Now Hiring" which is currently shooting in Orlando Florida. Plus, I have just been given my callback date for the SAG feature film "Pie Man." So, even though Orlando is commercial heaven you CAN book film work here. Also, my "Central Florida Slackers"
skit "Couch Fishin" has been accepted by National Lampoon's Comedy Night School and will air nationally in a few months. In the meantime, I have started a postcard mailing campaign and I am continually building my contact list. And please don't forget that everyday I'm not acting I'm pouring concrete...... so call me.
Stay posted more stuff coming soon.

October 22, 2005
Hi there everyone, this month has been pretty good. I just finished shooting a national commercial for Berkley Fishing Lures. I went there to be an extra and got upgraded to a principal role (cool). I also got to work with two of the top ten bass fisherman in the country right now; Skeet Reese #3 and Michael Iaconelli #10. Thanks Guys! I had a good time and I hope you don't get to much grief for the speedos. Thanks also to VooDoo Films. Yesterday and last Sunday, I was in newspapers statewide modeling clothes for Beall's Department Store. The Rascal Flatts Video that I am in should start to air on CMT in another week or so. The title is "Skin" but everyone is calling it the "Sarabeth Song". My Kane's Furniture commercial should start to play soon too. In the meantime I have been working on ways to get my name out there as oppossed to sitting around and waiting for the phone to ring......

October 4, 2005
Ok then some action !! Look for me late this month on national television on CMT in the new music video from the country band Rascal Flatts for their song "Skin" aka the Sarabeth song. As of today, the song is number 10 on the Billboard Country Charts. It's going to number 1 !! Thanks guys!!
Also, look for me soon on Florida television in a commercial for Kane's furniture. I'm sitting on a couch watching football and eating popcorn and don't forget to check out my white socks! Plus, look for me on local television (not sure exactly when) in a commercial for The Space Coast Area Transit Authority (the bus). I play a surf camp instructor extolling the benefits of organized after school activities (the proper ones). And finally, look for me in Florida newspapers on Sunday October 16, in the Beall's Department Store catalogue... maybe even on the cover???
Nice Huh???

September 24, 2005
The Rascal Flatts music video I shot a couple of days ago should be airing in about a month. It was for their song "Skin". We did the shoot in a hospital where I played a doctor breaking bad news to a family. They took still shots of me talking to the family. I can't wait to see how it turns out because I know it's going to be good. Thanks to everyone at Deaton/Flanigen Productions.

September 19, 2005
Just a little news on this post. Look for me in an upcoming music video for the song "Skin" by the country band Rascal Flatts. I play a doctor. Cool huh!? On a previous post, I told you about a major reality show that was interested in me. Well after making it to the final round of consideration, I got a letter today saying that the show would not be back for a second season. Bummer! and a bit strange because I know read somewhere that the ratings were very good. The show was "Mr. Romance" on the Oxygen Network. Told ya' it was funny..........

September 9, 2005
I spent today shooting "Dr. G, Medical Examiner" for The Discovery Health Channel. I played a detective interrogating some thugs. DR. G is the real medical examiner for Orange County Florida. I will post an air date when I get it.

September 3, 2005
More news. On a previous post, I told you about an audition I went on that resulted in a call from LA. I have an update for you. As they requested, I sent them a demo tape (so to speak) and a completed (lengthy) application. They must of liked them because I just got a letter from them saying that I was being considered for the "final round" of interviews in LA but that they were postponing their decisions for a few more weeks. This show is a reality show with HUGE ratings. More info soon.

August 22, 2005
I booked another print job. This time for Tweeter Electronics. Thanks again to Alexa Model and Talent!!!

August 12, 2005
Hi there, just a little news on this post. I booked two more print jobs this week. One for Azure Boats and one for Beall's Department Store. Thanks again to the wonderful agents at Alexa Model and Talent!!!

August 1 2005
Ok then some NEWS. In the midst of the steamy dog days of summer I have some action. First, last week my brother and I auditioned for the independent feature film "Now Hiring". They seemed to like the fact that we are brothers. The story is about an inherited family business so it makes sense to cast brothers. I will let you know if we hear back from them. I have also booked a small role in the feature film "Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector" which will start filming any day now.
And finally, a couple of weeks ago I went to a nationwide casting call here in Orlando. The producers of the show liked my audition and called me from Los Angeles. They wanted me to put myself on tape and send it to them which I did.
So, check back and I will let you know how things work out....either way.

July 13th 2005
Still kind of quiet but I have been going on auditions. I have posted some new headshots. Check them out in photos. They are not what you think!!
Check back soon.

June 24, 2005
Just a little news on this post. I spent the last two days at The Ritz Carlton Resort in Sarasota Florida. I did modeling work for their upcoming marketing literature. I did golfing shots, business meeting shots, family on the beach shots and romantic dinner shots. I got to work with some of the top models in the state in addition to being properly pampered by the Ritz (Nice). It was all very fun. Many thanks to Rose Rosen at Rose Rosen casting and a big thank you to the good folks at Alexa Model and Talent!!! Stay tuned I got stuff percolatin'.

June 11, 2005
Hello everybody! Thank you for checking in. Since my last post about a month ago, I have only been on a couple of film/tv auditions (no books). I did however make the cover of the 2006 Harley Davidson dealer catalog (tough guy biker) which I shot several weeks ago (see pics in photos). I have two more modeling jobs coming up later this month so at least I am doing a little something for the month. While it's quiet, at least for me, I am updating and redoing my compcard and submitting for print work to everyone everywhere. I have also been sending my headshots out of state for film work. We will see how that goes. I am also actively seeking a talent manager. I have talked to several but no hits so far. In short, I'm using the slow dawg days of summer to PREPARE and BE READY to go later this year. Thanks for checking in!
Craig

April 3, 2005
Hi folks, first I have some news for you then a little bit of a story with a lesson to be learned. News first, I have posted my 2005 Florida Incubator Contest SECOND PLACE film "My Daughter is Dead" and two brand new "Slackers" episodes. You can see them at Demo Reel Fun. I also mailed out my comp cards this week and everyone seemed to like them. So, we will see how it goes. I also had an audition/interview with a very successful business owner who is interested in me for a public speaking type of job. If I were to book this job, I could quit my day job if I wanted too and only have to work two days a week. Cool huh? I will keep you posted on that. Now for the story with the lesson. Yesterday April 2, 2005, I went to a casting call for a reality show to be hosted by SINBAD the comedian. The way the audition worked, is that they brought us in eight at a time and put us up on a stage. Then one at a time, SINBAD talked to us a sort of mini interview. Then after the last person was finished, the rule was they/he would tell us right there on the spot if they wanted us for a callback. So, immediately we new if we made the callback or not. Sudden Death so to speak. Anyway, I was in the first group of eight and DID NOT get picked for the callback. So while still on stage, I asked SINBAD, "So I did'nt get picked!?" He said, "No!" so I proceeded to take off my shirt and throw it down on the stage and threw a little temper tantrum all in good fun of course. Then, I left knowing that they DID NOT want me for the callback. So, I proceeded with my Saturday afternoon not to concerned about anything like keeping my phone with me. Yep, you guessed it about three hours after I had left they called me and wanted me BACK but I did'nt check my messages until it was too late. LESSON TO BE LEARNED, always be available even if they say "NO" which is hard if your surfing or using a chainsaw!! Thanks again to Heather Heinz at 247CAST.COM and thank you to SINBAD and his production team for casting the show in Orlando. If you come back, call me cause I'm just as funny as you are......if you don't belive me go to Demo Reel Fun and watch episode five!!
Thanks Craig

Hi folks! I have some news for you. I just booked a commercial as principal for Gutter Topper. I would like to thank Heather Heinz at 247CAST.com. Im back. Yes, I know it has been a long time since my last post but many things have happened!
I have added two more "SLACKERS" episodes Dreamin' and Workin'Out. Yea, I know they're funny. I also won SECOND PLACE in the 2005 Florida Incubator Film Contest for my starring role in, "My Daughter is Dead" . I went to the big awards dinner in Miami Beach a couple of weekends ago. It was fun to win second place on the same night that I saw the film for the first time.It will be on my website soon. The contest organizers would'nt tell me how many entries they got all they would say is, "well over a hundred." My guess is 150-ish but the rumor was 400 entries??? Thanks to Kirk Westwood and Jared Buttars of Especially Neat Productions for letting me be part of their cool project!! I have another short film coming soon, "The Passion of Little Jim" in which my younger brother Chad Chamberlin has the starring role. There is a link to the trailer on my Links Page. I have a Full Sail student film coming soon too. I also booked my very first print job. It was for Volvo Construction equipment. I will post the picture when I get it. I will be mailing out my comp card very soon and hope to book more print work. Getting paid to let someone take your picture??? What have I been thinking??? On Monday March 14, look for me in the starring role of Capt. John in National Geographic's "Tragedy at Sea" airing at 8pm EST on the National Geographic Channel. Yes, I said starring role (just in case the other cast members are reading this.)
Thankyou for checking in. I will be making some changes (more videos , more pictures etc.) to my site over the coming weeks so check back from time to time.

Thanks Craig

December 8, 2004
Okay folks we're on. I have posted the first three episodes of "Central Florida Slackers." These are short skits I dreamed up, starred in and edited. I figured heck, why do I gotta' wait around till' I get cast in something? All those dang auditions, I'll just cast myself instead. Now yer thinkin'. So check em' out under demo reel. I had fun making them and I hope you have fun watching them. It's my first time for everything except being silly.

So don't forget to check back from time to time because more stuff is coming regardless of what the critics and tabloids might be saying.

Oh yea, and one more thing............. It ain't easy bein' me.

November 28, 2004
Hi everyone, good things have been happening over the past couple of weeks. I just finished shooting the lead in a short film which will be entered into the "Florida Incubator Contest." It is a cool story and I keep getting this thought we are going to win but there are probably three or four hundred entries so who knows? We did scenes in the director's apartment, we did underwater scenes at Blue Springs and we did scenes on and around the St. Augustine Lighthouse. Thanks to everyone at Especially Neat Productions for a fun and professional shoot.

I also just booked a principal role in a Bruster's ice cream commercial straight from my 24/7 Web Site. They viewed my auditions online and booked me. All I gotta' do is show up!

Check back from time to time cause' this website is goin' large. I just bought a camera and have started to film my own skits and scenes which will be up soon if its ok with my web guy and if I can figure out the editing software. Some will make you laugh some will make you cry and some will be just plain silly. Oh one more thing, the cat fajitas weren't THAT bad.....

November 2, 2004
Hi everyone. I just finished shooting the second half of National Geographic's Split Second. We shot underwater scenes, storm scenes, drifting scenes, drinking scenes, sailing scenes, broken engine scenes, more drinking scenes and dying scenes. This was all done in the swimming pools, bars, sailboats, marinas and Gulf of Mexico in and around the Crystal River area of Florida which is a very beautiful place.

I would like to thank again all cast and crew and especially the very hard working team of Engle Brothers Media for their extreme professionalism. Be sure to check back from time to time and watch me build my acting career on this website. Oh and one last thing, I knew I should have untied that zodiac when I had the chance...
